Aldi Wine Shop
Aldi launched its wine eCommerce platform aldi.co.uk last month and came to us with two core objectives: to raise awareness of the new offering and drive online wine sales.
We came up with a campaign which would drive sales of Aldi’s wine online, shake up consumer perception of Aldi wines and communicate their quality, as well as generate media coverage to raise awareness of the eCommerce platform.
We launched a ‘futuristic’ Aldi wine store for a limited period. Its minimalistic design consisted of glass wine displays and stations lined with tablets where customers could try and buy their favourite tipples online. The stunt attracted high profile media coverage - including metro.co.uk, cityam.com, dailymail.co.uk, thesun.co.uk, The Sunday Times Magazine and The Star - and boosted online sales revenue by 35%.
